INTER-CLUB PLAYERS DEFEAT ELLESMERE.

At Wilding Park, Christchurch, on Saturday, the Ellesmere Sub-Associa-tion's representative team played a match against a team drawn from the Christchurch inter-club competition players. The match resulted in a win for the inter-club players by 21 sets to 11. Details are given below, Ellesmere players being mentioned first: Men's singles: T. Free beat L. J. Broughton, 9-7; G.
