SPRINGSTON

SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY

The Methodist Sunday School anniversary services were held in the church. The preacher in the morning was Mr Francis and in the evening the Rev. J. Southern. There was special singing by the children and Miss R. Dent presided at the organ.

The anniversary tea meeting and concert was held on Thursday evening. The tea tables were presided over by the Sunday School teachers and members of the Bible class. A most enjoyable concert was given by the junior choir of the Union Methodist Church, Addington. During the evening the. Rev. Southern presented

prizes to the children attending the Sunday School. Mr Peryman (superintendent) gave a report on the Sunday School's work. A vote of thanks was passed to the choir and to all who had helped to make the gathering successful, also to Messrs Down, Turnpenny, Clements, Edwards, Gay and Walker for motoring the party out. The members of the choir were entertained at supper.
