PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

ST. DAVID'S, LEESTON.

The Rev. W. G. Hannal^ interim moderator, presided at a meeting of the Management Committee of the Leeston Presbyterian Church, and advised that the call extended to the Rev. D. N. Pryor, of St. Andrews, South Canterbury, had been placed in the Rev. Mr Pryor's hands and had been accepted.

In accordance with the expressed wishes of the Committee the Christchurch Presbytery had arrangements in hand for the induction ceremony to be held on Thursday, April 6th, at 7 p.m., in the church. It had already been decided that this should be followed by a welcome social in the Town Hall. It was decided that a combined congregational meeting in Leeston, Brookside and Killinchy should be held at Leeston on Tuesday next, March 21st to make arrangements for the social. It was also decided that the Harvest Festival services should be held at Killinchy on April 23rd (evening) and at Leeston on May 7th (morning and evening).
