WAIHORA CLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING.
>At the* annual meeting of the Wai hora Tennis Club, Mr John Rennie presided. The financial statement showed the Club to have a liability of £112. Opening day was fixed for October 6, when the pavilion will be officially opened. / The following officers were elected: Patron, the Hon. Sir Heaton Rhodes, M.L.C. Mr J. Rennie; vicepresidents, Messrs D. Jones, M.P., H. S. S. Kyle, M.P., C. F. Bowley, A. S. Duncan, L. Harris,* E. Hodgen, J. Jones, H. A. Nutt, T. Streeter, W. F. Parkinson, T. C. Withell, R. J. Templeton, G. Templeton; hon secretary, Mrs Streeter; treasurer, T. Streeter; club captain, W. C. Miller; managing committee, Mrs Templeton, Mrs Joblin, Miss Thompson and Messrs I. Gray, J. Miller, T. Streeter and R, Templeton; auditor, C. F. Bowley; selection committee, I. Gray, W. C. Miller and Mrs R. Templeton; delegates, Messrs S. Maguinness and J. R. Templeton. It was decided to place on record appreciation of the services of Miss Jones, who had been secretary of the Club since its inception, but who. was now away from the district.
