Mr Edward Yarr, of Greenpark, a member of the Springs County Council, is spending a holiday in Otago.
Mr S. R. Wright, county engineer,
leturned on Saturday night froni a business visit to Lawrence, Central
Otago.
The Rev. W. G. and Mrs Hannah, of Southbridge,. who have been spending a holiday at Caversham, Dunedin, and at Awamoko, North Otago, expect to return home next Friday.
Mr and Mrs J. R. Jackson, df Leeston, intend to leave this week on a holiday visit to Napier. ; •-
Mr R. Bruce, master of the Killinehy School, and Mrs Bruce, have been spending the latter paTt of the school holidays at Le Bon's Bay.
Miss M. L. Stephens, who has been a resident of Brookside for a lengthy period, is removing to Christehurch, and will take up her residence .at 36, Clissold street, Merivale. "
Messrs A. Quigley, W. J. Doyle, G. Nairn, J. Robb and D- Millar paid a visit to, Dunedin last week. '.;:
The Rev. A. H. and Mrs Fbwles, of Springston, have returned from ,a lengthy and very enjoyable motor tour. They travelled across to the West? Coast, visiting Greymouth, Hokitika and the glaciers, and then proceeded via the Buller Gorge to Nelson and Blenheim and back along the East Coast via Kaikoura. Good weather was experienced throughout the trip,: making the camping part of the tour very enjoyable. - ;- '/-
