WEEKLY SOCIAL.
The usual weekly euchre tournament and dance was well patronised on Saturday evening. The prizewinners were Mrs E. J. Harris and Mr J. R. Tyson. Mr L. Everest supplied the music for the dance. A meeting of the committee was held -in the hall recently and it was decided to hold a long night euchre and dance on Monday, December 19th, when the aggregate prizes for the seasdn would be presented.

It was eventually left to the chairman to approach some of those who were using the bath and ascertain whether they intended to form a Club. If they would not act on their own initiative, the Board would call a meeting of swimmers on its own account. If an organisation was not then formed to take over the bath, the Board would consider letting out the water in order to safeguard itself from liability iu the event of drowning or other accident.
