EUCHRE AND DANCE

On Thursday evening a very successful euchre tournament and dance was held in the Memorial Hall in aid of the sweets stall at the forthcoming flower show. There was a good attendance. The first prizes were goslings, whilst Christmas cakes were given as second prizes. The prizewinners were Mrs F. H. Blakemore 1, Mrs E. H. Rowell 2; Mr J. Moore 1, Mr Sam Bennett 2. Consolation prizes were awarded to Mrs G. Duff and Mr J. Wright. Mr L. Everest was musician.
