DUNSANDEL CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Dunsanclel Football Club was presided over by the president, Mr H. A. Brown, and there was a very good attendance.
Those present stood in silence as a mark o? respect to the memory of the late Mr G. Shcat, who was a patron of the Club.
In his opening remarks the president complimented the Club on the very successful season experienced. T|ie club had won the E.R.S.Tj. shield, the senior sevena-side medals and the thirdgrade banner, besides having eight players in the senior representative team and four in the .junior representative team. This was an achievement that any club might well be proud of.
The balance sheet was considered very satisfactory, as after having spent the sum of £35 in lighting the ground for training and lighting the rooms for dressing, there was a credit ..balance of £5, notwithstanding a loss of over £4 on the annual dance.
It was decided to carry oh the Club, and the following officers were elected:
Patrons, Hon Sir Heaton Rhodes, M.L.C., Mr D. Jones, M.P. and Mr H. A. Brown; president, Mr E. G. Wright; vice-presidents, Messrs Jas. Walker, T. A. Walker, John Walker, C, A. Wright, IT. F. Wright, D. Westenra, F. Chamberlain, J. Tyler, E. J. Chatterton, ,C. R. Hatehard, G. W. Kime, N. J. Brown, E. Sollitt senr. and R. Glaydon senr; captain, Mr K. A. Johnston; vicecaptain, Mr E. G. Pocock; secretary and treasurer, Mr K. Maepherson; general committee, Messrs B. Brongh, C. W. Pocoek, E. Sollitt, H. Eaplcy, E. S. Claydon, A: Stapleton and W. Chatterton, together with the captains of the junior and third-grade teams; delegates to E.8.5.U., Messrs K. Macpherson and A. J. Sheat; coach to seniors, Mr Jas. Walker; coach to juniors, Mr H. A. Brown; coach to third grade, Mr John Walker; selectors of each grade, coach, captain and secretary; seven aside selectors, Messrs Jas. Walker, H. A. Brown, John Walker and K. W. Macpherson; referees nominated were Messrs H. J. Con way, S. Tweedy, R. S. Claydon and E. G. Wright; auditor, Mr F. E. Owers.
The subscription was fixed at 7/6, to be reduced to 5/- if paid by end of first round of competition matches.
It was agreed to enter a team ineach of the first ami second grades, the entering of a team in the third grade to be left to the discretion of the
committee.
Tuesday and Thursday evenings wore fixed on as training nights throughout
the season
It was moved as a recommendation to the E.R.S.U. that all concrete cricket pitches in playing areas be covered with turf and not with sawdust.
