LEESTON CLUB.
Oil Saturday the Leeston Footbail
Club held a very successful opening, between 25 and 30 players turning out, besides more than a dozen "busy bees," who assisted to get the ground in order. The practice game went very well and hopes are entertained that the Club will have a successful season. It has been decided to run a series of euchre tournaments and dances, and the first of these functions will be advertised shortly. . >
