Attempted Suicide.
— • — On Tuesday evening last, a young man named George Hatch, who is a resident of Southbridge, attempted to commit suicide by cutting his throat. The wound was not of a serious nature, however, haying been inflicted m the muscles at the side of the neck. I/pon his rash intentions being discovered, he >tras iinmediq,toly taken to "the local Medico, who dressed the - ound. Ho was afturwwds arrested by Constable McCormack, on the charge of Attempted Suicide, and taken to Leeston, where he was brought before i Lewis Mathias Esq., J. P. On the application of the Police, he was remanded 1 until the next Leeston S.M. Court Day. 1
