WOMENS DIVISION OF THE FARMERS UNION

Poolbnrn Branch There was a large attendance at a meeting,, which was a special one, of the Poolburn Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union to welcome Mrs Elliott and Missßorrie, provincial president and secretary respectively. The president, Mrs Williamson, presided and introduced the visitors. A very in' teresting address on the work of the Women’s Division was given by Mrs Elliott, and Miss Borrie also gave a short talk, both of which were much appreciated. The visitors received a hearty vote of thanks. Tarras Branch The Tarras branch of the W.D.F.U. will hold its birthday party on Wednesday evening.
