CLYDE DOMAIN BOARD
A special meeting of tlie Hoard was held last Monday in order to consider the; financial statement draft report and arrangements for the-Annual Meeting. The secretary states the income for the year was £2!J 4-tkl; Expenditure £3-•2-iod, leaving a credit balance of £2(J-I-fid in the (Savings Hanks to be carried forward. All the anticipated income had been received with the exception of £2 2s for rent from the United Sports Committee. The meeting decided to send the statement on to annual meeting and adopt it subject to the examination of accounts by the Government Auditors. A draft report next came up for consideration and was adopted for presen ation, In it reference was made to further improvements during the past year and certain suggestions about the future. The report also dealt with the mode of election of the Hoard as a result of recent amendments explained in last issue of the Dunstau Times There is expressed therein a strong desire that the suggestion will find support from residents to whom the future of the Domain should mean a great deal. A recommendation about a vigorous tree planting policy is given considcrtiun at the Annual meeting . The new Board should be constituted of nine members who, on approval of the Lauds Department will hold olliee for 7 years. The date of the Annual Meeting was fixed for Monday 12th, May at T.dU. a date to be kept in mind by residents.
