VINCENT COUNTY COUNCIL
The following is the order paper to be presented at next week's meeting of the Vincent County Council : Cr Horn to move: That the sum of LI 200 be borrowed under the ' Government Loans to Local Bodies' Act, 1886,' for the puipose of enabling this Council to carry out a scheme for the erection of reservoirs and the purchase and laying of pipes in the Clyde water-race district. Cr Horn to move—Tb&t a sptcial rate of Id m ihe £ be struck on all property situate in th« Ciyde Water Race district, to rmet principal and interest of said £I2OO, to be an annual recurring rate, until loan is paid off. Cr Horn to move—That this Council make and ordain a bye-l»w in respect of the water-works in the Clyde water-race district, providing as to (a) terms and conditions on which water may be supplied, lb) ordinary and extraordinary supply, (c) rates payable for ordinary and extraordinary supply, (d) connections with the water wocks. Cr Horn to move—Amending County Bye»law No 6. Regulating pace for traffic over bridges, and fixing penalty. Cr Laiulaw—That the sum of LSO be voted to improve Thornton's Gorge track. Cr Kane—That the sum of LIOO be voted for forming the main road from Luggate r'unt to Hawea. Cr JtSutlei That L2O be expended in improving the road from the schoojhouse to Mr Svues' residence, Bald Hill Flat. Oi Laiolaw —Thas the sum of LIOO be voted to erect a traffic bridge over the Tinkers sludge channel on the main road Matakanui to Ophir.
