Wedding Bells.

(From our Bannockburn correspondent.) A large number of people assembled at the Methodist Church here, tg witness a very pleasing ceremony—The marriage of Miss Hancock to Mr W. Toms. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. L. Ryan in a most impressive manner. The church was tastefully decorated with flowers and evergreens. The bride, who for some years had acted as organist, was, a short time ago, presented with a very handsome bible by the. members of the Church Committee as a slight recognition of her valuable services. After the ceremony the weddingparty drove from the church to. the residence of the bride's parents, where the health of the Bride and Bridegroom was proposed by the Rev. L. Ryan and rightroyally responded to. A splendid spread was provided, and quite 50 people sat down to the wedding breakfast. After justice was done to the good things provided, the hapoy couple started on their honeymoon trip'to the Lakes, amid hearty cheers and showers of slippers and rice. The young folks then settled down to an afternoons enjoyment. Kiss in the ring, twos and threes, rounders., and dancing on the green made the moments ily till tea-time, when again the tables were crowded. After tea the room was cleared for dancing. Excellent music was provided by Mrs J. Ray (piano), and Mr N. D. Parcell (violin). The young folks seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves, while the older folks fought their battles over again in the other rooms. About midnight the party broke up, having had a very plea.san.U.ime, and at peace with all the world wedding presents, tastefully laid outfSToh sideboards and tables, looked very pretty.
