Late Cables.
London, June 17. Eight hundred oases of cholera have been reported in Cairo during the last week. Italy and France are negotiating for a commercial treaty. A tremendous struggle is go'ng on in the-States between the Gold and Silver parties. Heavy rain interfered with the Australians'match against Yorkshire, and the home team's inning* closed for 108. In. the second innings of the Australians they scored 31 for one wicket, but owing to the heavy wicket the match was abandoned. Several towns and villages were destroyed in Japan by 150 shocks of earthquake and over 1000 persons killed, . ■
