Original Correspondence.

(We do not identify ourselves with the opiuio expressed by our correspondents.) TO THE EDITOR OF THE DUNSTAK TIMES. Sir, —It has been proved in a great many placee that the banks of our" River "The Molyneux," many feet above the ordinary flood-levels contain gold, the desideratum is water that is to be obtained, but at what price. The simple facts of the matter is this:—lf the holders of -water that command the banks persist in charging the present exorbitant price, the gold will lie in its natural resting-place, and the district, I am afraid, will feel the want of a population that it might retain. By you treating .on. this subject and thoroughly exposing it in its several bearings, the much desired object might be attained. I remain, Sir, Your obedient Servant, Aqua.
