DUNSTAN HOSPITAL.

The usual Monthly-meeting of the Dunstan Hospital-Committee, was held at the Clyde-Hotel, Clyde, on Monday evening last the 9th inst. There were present Messrs Hazlett, Edwards, M'Conochie, Goodwin, Marshall, Cope (Secretary,) Hume (Treasurer,) Morice, Barlow, and Cambridge. Mr Hazlett occupied the chair. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The House-Surgeon's, Treasurer's, Seccetary's, and Finance-Couimitte's reports were read and received. The Secretary was instructed to see about the purchase of a copper-boiler and a washing-machine. Proposed by Mr Barlow—That Messrs Cope, Hume, and Hazlett, endeavour to make arrangements with the Bank of New South Wales for an over-draught of .£SOO, to be available at any time when such might be required ; seconded by Mr Marshall and carried. Proposed by Mr Goodwin and second by Mr Morice—That in future, the Alexandra ward be set apart for female patients, and that the words " Female-ward" be painted on the door; carried. Messrs Cambridge, Hume, and Barlow were elected a finance-committee for the ensuing six months. The visiting-committee for the quarter ending 30th September, will consist of Messrs Marshall, M'Conochie, and Cambridge. A vote of thanks to the chairman concluded the proceedings.
