Found in a Clerk's Diary. Monday.—Arrived at the office usual time, and got through a good day's work. Coming home met Frank Boyle. Had sherry and bitterß with him, and made an appointment for the next night at 6.30 o'clock. Tuesday.—Routine work. Met Frank according to appointment. Had dinner together. Had several whiskeys, and wound up with lobster supper. Couldn't get the latch key in as easily as I would desire. Wednesday. —Severe headache and somewhat Bilious. Two whiskies must be my limit in future, and no lobster at midnight. Remained in bed. Thursday.—Felt no better. It is now 10 p.m. lam retching frightfully, and my head is splitting. Friday. — The mater's brother was cured of Biliousness by Bile Beans, and she insisted upon Bridget running ro_nd to the chemist's tor a box. I took two of the Beans before going to sleep. Saturday.—Feel much better. Headache almost gone, and the vomiting has ceased.. Took two more Beans. Sunday.—Feel first-class. Eat well all day. Went to church in the .evening. Met Frank Boyle there, and made him a convert to Bile Beao.. Monday.—A. work again—thanks to Bile Beans for Biliousness.
