(Received July 25, 10.45 p.m.) London, July 27. The casualties in connection with the capture of »he train near Beaufort West were chiefly among the Yeomanry and South African Horse. Of" U,G2_ white men, 27,711 women, and 43,075 children in the Boers' concentration camps in June, (58 men, 138 women, and 475 children died. Four rebels at Vryburg have been sentenced to penal servitude for ten years. Private Isles, West Australian, was killed at Jamersfontem. Brisbane, July 24. In reply to the Premier's enquiries with reference to the sending of farther troops to South Africa, the Imperial authorities have cabled that they are willing to accept returned troops who have recovered, but no others would be eligible.
