Increased British Strength at Tientsin.

Anglo-Eussian Differences The Legations. United Press Association. By Electric Telegraph — Copyright. (Received July 18, 1.5 a.m.) London, July 17. Renter states that the departure of the Third Bombay Cavalry from Tientsin has been countermanded, while the strength of the British remaining there will be increased by 1000. The cause is unknown.

Owing to Anglo-Russian differences over the payment of China's indemnity, negotiations are at a deadlock.

The Chinese have consented to the Italian Legation at Pekin retaining the Temple of Ancestors. The Chinese have also agreed to the construction of a glacis, separating the Legations from the Chinese city, neither Europeans nor Chinese to build thereon.
