Their Reception at Dunedin.

Extensive Preparations.

[per press association.] Dcnedix, Last night. At a meeting of the committee to-night an elaborate programme was adopted in connection with the welcome of the soldiers returning by the Harlech Castle. This includes the welcome at Port Chalmers, after which the men will be conveyed by steamer to Dunedin, their friends being brought up on the steamer with them. On reaching Dunedin horses will be provided, and under escort by the Otago Hussars they will proceed to' Forbury Park. Here addresses will be given by the Governor, the Premier, and the Mayor. There will be displays, sports, &c. In the evening a social will be held, followed by a display of fireworks. There will be a short service at Forbury Park, and school children will sing a number of SODgS.
