Maskrell, for failing to keep proper books, was admitttd to probation for three months, at Gisborne, and pay £5 15s 6d oosts Sharpest froet for many years at Wellington last night. Agricultural Department considering best means of ooping with intoot pests in this oolony, and will seoure servioes eminent entomologist. ti. Helles appointed manager Wellington Woollen Co.
