Large numbers of visitors were present on the EUerslie course this morning. Liberator, after travelling once round on tho course proper, was joined by Esparto, the pair putting in a round at racing pace. Liberator had his companion in trouble at tho finish. Ebor anl Norton were associated together in a couple of rounds on the same track at their best paoe. Norton had a deal the best of the gallop. Uiiion Jaok and Belle put in a couple of strong rounds on the tan, Belle finishing beet of the pair Fishmonger compassed three rounds of the tan at a sound paae Bonovoree did steady work. Amal.am «nd Stray shot were restricted to half pace work. King John and Variety were schooled over hurdles ; the last named jumped very badly. Kildsre and Levanter compassed two circuits of the tan at about three-quarter speed. Kathleen and Clayton did slow work.
The pony Olayton, engaged in the Pony Hnrdlo Race, failed to pass the standi-rd this morning.
Ladybird has been struck out of tho Grand National Hurdle JSacc.
There is very little betting to report on the Grand National Hurdle Race and Grcit Northern Steeplechase. Liberator is receiving good support for the double; 15 to 1 is the best price on offer about him Gollan's pair (Ebor and Norton) are still quoted favorites at 12 to 1.
