New South Wales the proposal is that five of the team be seleoted from Wellington and the remainder from other parts of the island. Communications are passing between the selection committee and Kallender, Neill, Fowke, and Mills, of Auckland; *olstenholme, Bruce, and Lusk, of Napier; M'Donough, of Stratford; and Mills, of Hawera. When the replies are to hand the team will be chosen. We understand that Lusk is the only player likely to go from here, as Wolatenholme and Bruce are unable to obtain the necessary leave.
