The Bill as drafted by Judtfe Barton provided that iininediatelr a Judge's ieauod it was valid, and could only be upsot on appeal on a point of law to the Appeal Oourt. Aβ the measure has been approved by tho Cabinet, and will be circulated, it is provided that all certificues granted by a Judge ahull be laid on the table of the House, and if there is uo objeotion ihereto, they will have effect given to them. Appeals on points of law are to be hewd by the Appeal Oourt as originally proposed The Bill is to be referred tv the Native Affairs Committee, who willdecide whether a Judge shall have final power of validation without reference to tho House.
