In tUo Legislative Assembly last night the salary of the next Governor of tho colony was reduced to £7000, the honoraria of members of Assembly to £250, the salaries of Ministers of the Grown by 20 per cent., and Judges ami high officials by 15 per cent. London Chartered. Bank. The London Chartered Bank has half a million sovereigns in its safe, and another half a million worth of assets can be realised immediately. The Qovornment deposits amount to £200,000. Over 150 new aocounts, aggregating £100,000, were opened yegierday.
