The s.s. Tarawera ia expected to arrive at aaylight to-morrow morning from Sydney, Auckland, and Gisborne, loaving for Hobart and Melbourne via south ports in tho afternoon. The Ahuriri takes outgoing passengers from tho wharf at 2 p.m. psTho s s. Manapouri is due from Australian and southern ports nt about 10 o'clock tomorrow morning, and steams for Gisborne, Auckland, and" Sydney in tho evening. The last launch leaves the wharf at 5 p m. The s.s. Southern Cross is due here tomorrow morning from Auckland and intermediate ports, and will steam for Wellington from tho wharf at noon. |PEB PBHSS AESOCIATION,] Poet Chalmebs, This day. Arrived—Tongariro, Captain Bone, with 2262 tons of cargo, 13 bags mails, and 50 passengers. Her dates are London February Gth, Tenerift'e February 11, Cape Town February 29, Hobart March 21. Aftor leaving Cape Town, she experienced strong southerly gales, with high confused seas, until reaching longitude G3 E, thence light ■winds with dense fog to Hobart, airivicg here at 0.30 a.m.
