Tho result was Odwt Bgr of gold, 119o_ lGdwt 22gr of silver to tho ton. Messrs P. S. Brown and J. D. Mackenzie go on Monday t_ Wellington. Tho latter is a pioneer prospector of Waireki. They wanted to take a brick of silver with them, but a watchmaker bought it and is working it into rings aud ornaments. They will, however, tako tho first gold obtained from tho Caledonian.
