October 7 —Kahu, s.s., from Wellington. B—Kiwi, 8.8., from Wellington ria Castle Point. B—Australia, s.s., from Gisborno and Auckland.

October. 7—Southern Cross, s.s.. for Northern ports.

The s.s. Kahu, Captain Romeril, arrived last night from Wellington, and is now discharging her cargo at the breastwork. She is the bearer of the Napier portion of transhipments ex Areola from Calcutta. The s.s. Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, arrived from Wellington via the Coast early this morning. She brings a largo quantity of cargo for here, including consismments ex Tainui from London. "The Union Company's s.s. Australia arrived from Northern ports this morning, and was brought insido to discharge her cargo. She will resume her voyage for Wellington at 3 p.m. to day. The Union Company's s.s., Southern Cross discharged her cargo in tho roadstead into the Booj nra, and resumed her voyage Northwards last night. The s.s. Manapouri left Auckland at noon yesterday, and will call here tomorrow morning. The Boojum, with her outward passengers for Melbourne via Southern ports, leavos tho wharf at 2 p.m. The s.s. Waihora leaves Wellington at 5 p.m. to-day, and will arrive here to-morrow forenoon. She will proceed to Sydnoy via Northern ports in the evening, her outward passengers leaving tho wharf in the Boojum at 5 p.m. The Wairoa pilot reports the bar bad shallow.
