The market rate of discount is at IJ, and the Bank rate at 2}. At to-day's wool sales a cataloguo of 12,800 bales" was submitted, the various lots meeting with a firm and active demand. The accounts received from the hopgrowing districts relative to the prospects of this year's crop are of a very unfavorable character.
