Theatre Royal.

" My Partner "

The Rignold Company re-produced this great drama last evening, when there was a crowded house. The piece went just as briskly as on Saturday night, and the presentation was as successful as erer. Throughout the evening there was contined applause, and during the second and third acts nearly all the performers were called beforo the curtain. All the performers acquitted themselves very creditably, and it may be said that the second production of the piece was a decided success. The special train which ran from Hastings was also well patronised. Mr George Rignold and Miss Kale Bishop acted in their usual good style, and deserved the applause which followed on their call before the curtain. Tonight "Alone" will bo produced, when play-goers will have another treat afforded them. This piece is by Palgravo Simpson and Herman Herri vale, and is a well written comedy drama. Mr J. B. Buckstone's laughable comedietta "A !>ead Shot" will follow "Alone," when, as there is a double bill to be presented, and both capital pieces, there should be a crowded house. "11l the Ranks." All the necessary appointments for the production of tho above piece will arrive by the s.s. Australia from Wellington to-day. This drama has been a great success whereever it has been produced, and Napier theatro-gocrs should not miss the opportunity of witnessing it, as it is one of the best military dramas of the day. "In the Banks " will be produced here to-morrow and Friday evenings, when " Called Back, , ' which was announced for to-morrow evening, cannot be presented.
