Auckland, This day.

A wooden store at KawakaAva, containing mining materials, oils, paints, talloAV, &C, belonging to the Bay of Islands Coal Company, Avas burnt clown on Wednesday. The cause of the fire is unaccountable, as there Avas no fire in the building or its vicinity. It was raining at the timo. There Avas a miraculous escape of loss of life from an explosion of poAvder and dynamite caps; one man was slightly hurt, and tho buildings in the vicinity Avere shattered. The property Avas insured, but the office and amount are not knoAvn.
