MAILS CLOSE The British Queen leaves Lyttclton for London on Saturday, the 27th instant. For the Sandwich "Inlands, America, West Indies, the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, &c, via San Francisco, on Saturday, the 3rd of November, at noon. The Omaha, from Auckland for the Chatham Islands, is postponed till the sth November. The Orient steamers -will leave Melbourne for London on 19th October, 2nd mid ICth November, arriving in London on 27th November, 11th and 2oth December. Correspondence for this route to be specially addressed per Orient steamers ; postage, 8d per half-ounce. J. Gkttbb, Chief Postmaster.
