Tho Union Company's steamer Southern Cross, Capt. Ross, is telegraphed as having left Auckland for Southern East Coast ports at 6 p.m. yesterday, and will probably Errive here on Thursday next. She is announced to steam from the wharf for Wellington at 3.30 on Friday. Tho ship Wairoa, Capt. Holbcckc, was brought in from tho ballast ground this morning, and took up her position with the other woolships at tho anchorage. Tho Wairoa traders Manaia and Maori aro still delayed in port, there being a heavy sea yet reported to bo running - on the "Wairoa bar. Tho steamer Sir Donald discharged a quantity of potatoes at the breastwork this morning, transhipped out of the Pleiades yesterday, and is again alongside that vessel to-day. . The steamer Wcka, Captain John Campbell, is loading up with timber and stores for Blackhead, and will be leaving tho first favorable opportunity. _ > The brigantine Enterprise, Captain Bell, has nearly finished taking in her cargo of railway sloopers, and will be leaving for Dunedin within the next few days.
