AVellington, This day.

A Norwsgian named Gaioricson, Avho deserted from the ship Oxford, on board Avhich he Avas employed as sailmaker, Avas found on the beach at Ohariu on Saturday by two station hands in a very exhausted condition. Gaioricson asserts that he had not touched food for sixteen days, and that during that period he had not seen a living soul. His feet present the appearance of having been frost-bitten. He Avas sent into town and subsequently to tho hospital, where he received treatment.
