The annual inter-University cricket match, Oxford versus Cambridge, was concluded to-day at Lord's, and resulted in a victory for Cambridge by woven wickets. June 28.
The deputation of colonial AgentsGeneral to Earl Derby, on the question of the proposed annexation of the New Hebrides, will wait upon the Colonial Secretary to-day. The death is announced of Dr. "W. Spottiswoode, the well-known printer and scientist, aged 58.
