PassengersMessrs McKano, Kelly, and several others. 17 —Fairy, s.s., forMahia. 18 —Manaia, p.s., for AVairoa. Passengers —Mesdames Johnston, Gray, Poyser, and Goodycar and children, Master Johnson, several gentlemen, and 15 natives.
The outward passengers were taken off to the s.s. Te Anau at 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, the steamer getting away 3 p.m. Sho is telegraphed as having arrived at AVellington at 9.50 a.m. yesterday. The s.s. Maori, Captain Anderson, steamed for Wairoa at 6.30 a.m. yesteday. The steamer Fairy took her departure for Mahia at 9 a.m. yesterday, taking a full cargo. Tho p.s. Mahia, Captain Baxter, left for Wairoa at 9.15 a.m. this day, taking a full cargo and a large complement of passcnThe Union Steamship Company s s.s. Tarawera, Captain Sinclair, got away for Auckland direct at 7.30 p.m. on Saturday, her mails and passengers having been transhipped at 7 o'clock. ■ The steamer Sir Donald, Captain Quinlan, is loading up to-day for Moeangiangi and AVaimaraiim, and expects to get aAvay this evening. The Union Company's steamer Taiaroa, Capt. Hansby, Avas to have left AVellington en route from Southern ports at 3 o'clock this afternoon, and is due in the roadstead at about midday to-morroAV. She Avill be tendered in the bay for her mails and passengers by the Boojum, and by the lighters for her cargo some 50 tons. She is announced to .steam for Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland at 4 o'clock to-morroAv afternoon. A square-rigged vessel was coming up the bay, apparently from the North, as our report left the Spit. "(By Carle.) Adelaide, This day. Arrived, yesterday, Messageries Company's steamship Caledonian from Marseilles (left May 10). [by telegraph.] Auckland, This day. Arrived, Mendoza Moore, from New York, 110 days out. AVellington, This day. Captain Rose, manager of tho New Zealand Shipping Company, has received a telegram from AVhite's Bay stating that the barquo Estolla put into Port Underwood on Thursday, and Avill proceed tho first opportunity. All arc Avell on board. The vessel has lost some sails. Tho E.stella left London for AVellington on February 15. Christchurch, This day. The Ncav Zealand Shipping Company are advised by cable that the actual steaming timo of the British King's homeAvard A-oy-age was 43 days 9 hours. Captain Halliet, R.N., of the lonic, is confident of making tho homeward A'oyage in -10 days. His ship avbs visited by betAveen 3000 and 1000 persons yesterday.
