Mr 11. Monteith reports that at the Horse Bazaar on Saturday a special entry of 23 horses from tho AVanganui district was submitted to the hammer, and, notwithstanding the dullness of the market this season, the Avholc of them were sold at satisfactory prices. The lot comprised light to medium draughts, light harness sorts, and hacks, for Avliich the folloAving pricos were obtained: —Light to medium draughts, broken, £23 to £23 ; ditto, unbroken, £16 to £25 ; light harness, £12 to £16 ; hacks, £8 to £16. There is little or no locallygroAvn produce (Avith the exception of potatoes) offering, and the price of grain is regulated by Southern quotations, Avith freight and expenses added, the very small quantity provincially grown not affecting the market. Mr Monteith quotes as folloAvs : ■ —Milling Avheat, 4/9 ; chick feed ditto, 2/3; oats, 5/9; bran, £4 10/-; potatoes £3 10/----for good qualtity ; onions, 2-_d per lb. [by cable.] London, Juno 15. New Zealand securities aro unchanged as follows:—Five per cent 10-40 loan, 106J-; five per cent 1889 loan, 104 J-; four and a half per cent 1879-1904 loan, 102J-; four per cent inscribed stock, 102 J. Colonial breadatuffs continuft dull, nnd prxuew nave deonued. Adelaide wheat, exAvarehouse, is quoted at 47/-, a fall of 1/- ; Noav Zealand Avheat, ex-waroliouso, has suffered a similar fall, aud is now at 43/----to 46/-, according to quality; Adelaide flour, ex-store, is qnoted at 33/-, a decline ofGd. The total quantity of AA'heat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,900,000 quarters, an increase of 10,000 quarters during the Aveek. Australian tallow is dull, and has declined 6d per cwt, best beef being uoav at 41/-, and best mutton at 42/6.
