Tho local manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company reports of the Melbourne grain market as follows : — Wheat (shipping-) in firmer at 5.s Id to 5.s 5d ; malting barley has a slightly improved tendency at"is 3d to bald; New Zealand oats, feeding 2s 10d to :js :.id, and milling b's -3d to !is od, Avith prices barely maintained; New Zealand oats, under bond, lis ad to 2s 10d.
