SUTTON. Chairman O.C. Hawke's Bay. G. T. FANNIN, C.C. Hawke's Bay. BYE-LAW No. 7. A BYE-LAW TO FKOHIBIT THK RUNNING AT LARGE OF PIGS AND GOATS WITHIN THE county or hawke's bay. In pursuance of the provisions of the "Counties Act, 1876," and the "Counties Act, 1876 Amendment Act, 1882," the County Council of Hawke's Bay do order as follows, that is to say :-— 1. Any pigs or goats found running at large may be impounded by any person in any public pound or in any enclosure specially appointed for the purpose by the Council, and publicly notified. Such enclosure shall, for the purpose of this bye-law only, be deemed a. public pound, arid the like fees and damages shall bo payable in respect of any pig-8 or g-oats impounded therein, as in the case of a public pound. 2. The owner of any pig or goat found running at large shall be deemed gtdlty of an offence, and shall, upon conviction, forfeit and pay any sum not exceeding , £1 for every pig or goat so found running at large, to be recovered in the manner provided by the 208 th section of the "Counties Act, 1876." THE PETITION of the undersigned Ratepayers of the Tamumu and Oero Road Districts in the County of Waipawa Humbly Sheweth,—■ npiIAT it is desirable to alter part of the JL Boundary Lines between the Tamumu and Oero Districts. THAT the present portion of the Boundary Line between the Tamumu and Oero Districts, commencing at the north-east corner of Block 30, Mangakuri District, at a point where the said Block joins the Mangakuri stream, and running from thence in a southerly direction to the Omakare stream, and from thence in an easterly direction to the sea, be abolished and' the following boundaries substituted in lieu thereof, viz. : — Commencing at the north-east corner of Block 29, Mangakuri District, where it joins the Mangarara stream, thence in an easterly direction along the northern Boundary Line of said .Block £9, and Blocks tiS, 27, 20, 2-5, and part of Block 2-1, thence in a north-easterly direction to the northeast corner of said Block 21, thence in a southerly direction along tho eastern Boundary Line of said Block 24. to the south-west corner of Block 23, thence in an easterly direction along the southern Boundary Line of said Block 23, to its southeast comer, thence in a southerly direction to the north-west corner of Block 38, thence in an easterly direction along the northern Boundary Line of Blocks 38 and 39, to tho north-east corner of Block 30. thence in a northerly direction to the northeast comer of Block 40, thence in an I easterly direction along the northern Boundary Line of Block -10 to the sea. Your Petitioners therefore pray that the present described Boundary Lines between the Tamumu and Oero Road Districts be altered, and the new Boundaries as hereinbefore described substituted in lieu thereof.
