Section' 2 has a small frontage to thcTaupo-road, and is bounded on one side by the Mohaka river. Sections 3 and 1 have frontage to the Taupo-road. Maungaliaruru District: Fern hills and spurs on"the western slopes of the Maungaharuru range, the soil is light, about one half of Section 2 is undulating country covered with natural grasses. Section 3is good pastoral land. Section 1 has frontage to Taupo-road. A few clumps of bush are scattered about on Section 1. Waitara District: Open fern country, hilly.
