SUPREME COURT, AUCKLAND.
Auckland, yesterday. The evidence for the prosecution in the case of Priestley and Mrs Hamilton, charged with the murder of Hugh Hamilton, is not finished yet. One of tho jurors, Mr Cooke, of the Auckland glassAvorks, Avas taken Avith fainting fits last nights. Dr Richardson Avas called in and prescribed. The doctor states that the fits arose from the mental strain caused by the trial, but he has hopes that Cooke Avill be able to hold out till the conclusion of the trial. This day. The Hamilton case continues. Nearly thirty Avitnesses have been examined so far, and their arc eight or nine more. The trial Avill not finish to-night.
