This day. L T p to the present time upwards of 170 applications have been received for the right to participate in the £0000 for libraries granted by Parliament last session. With reference to the tenders for the New Zealand loan, the Government notify that tenders for a million and half were received. Tenders at .£9B 11s receive four-fifths, and £'450,000 will be allotted above that rate.
