SYDNEY.

November 8

The trial of William Dunn, who some time ago set fire to Wright's bedding factory, was concluded at the Supreme Court to-day. The prisoner was found guilty ot having caused the death of Mrs Wright, wbo perished iv the flames, and was sentenced to death.

November 9

A fire brigade fete and demonstration was held here to-day with great success. Eight hundred representatives of the various corps in Victoria were present, in addition to those from places in this colony.
