Baker Pasha is re-enlisting a number of officers and men who fought under Arabi to serve in the expedition which is being despatched against the Soudan rebels.
Intelligence is to hand that three Egyptian Beys who instigated tne burning of Alexandria after the bombardment, and who subsequently escaped, have been arrested at Crete.
