There is evident signs that the Porte is uneasy at Earl Dufferin's mission to Egypt to conduct the negotiations for the settlement of affairs in that country.

It has transpired that the Porte has urged Lord Dufferin to delay his intended departure for Egypt. Earl Dufferio had an audience of the Sultan to-day, and shortly afterwards started on his mission to Egypt.
