October 4. Mr W. Hill, manager of the Colonial Bank of Australia at Reedy Creek, who was arrested on the 2nd instant on a charge of being concerned in the robbery of that branch on the 12th August last, was brought up at the Police Court to-day and remanded. October 5. In the Legislative Assembly last night a discussion took place on the subject of tbe late Mrs Stent. Sir Bryan O'Loghlen stated that Ministers were satisfied that there was no evidence of crime on the part of Dr. Barker. October 6. The steamship Arawata, which left the Bluff on the 20th ultimo, was sighted off Wilson's Promontory last night, aud was seen going into Refuge Cove. She made no signals, and the cause of the movement is therefore at present unknown.
