MELBOURNE.
September 30. The supposed small-pox patient at Hamilton died to day. The Victorian revenue for the quarter ended 30th September amounted to £1,320,000, being an inrease of £33,000 as compared with the corresponding quarter of last year. The total revenue tor the year ended September 30 amounted to £5,620,000, being an increase of £317,000 as compared with the previous year. Lavinia aud Phorcus have been scratched for the Melbourne Cup. October 2. Mr William Hill, .manager of the Colonial Bank of Australasia at Reedy Crpek has been arrested, charged with tbe robbery which was committed at that branch on August 12th last.
