A SCANDINAVIAN ANSWER.
[To the Editor of the Daily Teleguaph.] Sir,—Could you kindly allow space in your valuable columns to tbe following in answer to a paragraph in yesterday morning's Herald. I suppose we Scandina7ians ought to be very grateful for having a champion to keep up our reputation, but the undersigned cannot abstain from telling Mr V. Jensen that his coming forward is, to pay the least, uncalled for and presumptive, and we should like to know by whose authority he makes himself the mouthpiece of the Scandinavian community in Napier. We do not believe any respectable Scandinavians would lend their names to be connected with a most cowardly attack upon tbeir fellow-courtrymen. —We are, &c, P. G. Andersen 11. Pcdersen A.Danielson W. Schiffoer W. Krausse Stadum A. M. Johansen M. Wricksen G. Sandberg.
