GISBORNE.
December 27. Dr. Percy died yesterday. He had been suffering from a severe cough, and during the previous night he by mistake took chloroform instead of the proper cough mixture. An inquest will be held. The deceased was greatly esteemed throughout the district, and great regret is expressed at his sudden death.
